Besides a very hectic opera performing schedule , the following performances are on the horizon.
November 18-21, 2011 -In residence at Columbus State Univeristy. I will play a concert with the trombone choir and record a piece called "Beautiful Noise" by John Frith to be included on a CD project that is ongoing. Check out Brad Palmer's studio website at http://music.columbusstate.edu/trombone/
Dec 4, 2011 -The Purchase Conservatory Trombone Ensemble will perform at Purchase Conservatory.
December 18, 2011 -Christmas Concert at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City with the Vox Vocal Ensemble and the Graham Ashton Brass Ensemble.
February 29, 2012 -Master Class and Recital at the Glenn Gould School of Music in Toronto, Canada.
May 2, 2012 -Solo performance with the Purchase Conservatory Wind Ensemble. I will a piece called "Vademecum for Bass Trombone" by Wim Bex
May, 2012-I will play three complete Ring Cycles on Bass Trumpet!!!!
May 29-June 2, 2012-Members of the MET Trombone will record a CD at Columbus State University. The recording is sponsored by Buffet Crampon/Courtois instrument company.
June 8-9-I will be in residence in Cedar Rapids, Iowa along with co principal trumpet of the MET Opera, David Krauss.
